I had the entire last week off and it was really nice and relaxing, although I could easily do with another week on top of it. For now, I’m trying to not already think about work and instead chill with some trailers. Let’s check out the latest promos and teasers for some upcoming TV shows and movies!

How was it not more prominently known on social media that they adapted this book and the movie is coming out SOON?

Lady Chatterley’s Lover
I’ve never read the book, but I’m definitely interested in the movie.
Troll
I remember that the teaser for Troll already looked so fun, I’m here for it.
The Noel Diary
It looked very Hallmark-y, but then it looked super interesting. I want to watch it, not just because of Barrett Doss, who is fantastic.
Your Christmas or Mine
Asa will forever look like a teenager.
The Swimmers
It looks like it could be fantastic and heartbreaking and emotional, especially since it’s based on a true story. I don’t want to minimize it by saying that Matthias Schweighöfer is cashing those Netflix cheques, but he is.
The Eternal Daughter
Very A24-like.
Sheltering Season
They definitely want to build up the tension with that music from the get go.
Lamborghini
I mean, it doesn’t look amazing.

It looks like a touching documentary.
Avatar 2: The Way of the Water
Looks like it’s finally happening soon? Does that sentence even make sense?
Disenchanted
I’m still a little cautious about this one. I loved the first movie, but I don’t want to be disappointed by an unnecessary sequel, you know?
TV Shows
Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin
They actually filmed this in my beloved Berlin, which is a plus, but I wonder how many actual German actors will be involved and despite Nena being iconic, I hope they include some modern German music.
Riches
This looks spicy, in the best way.
Irreverent
It reminds me of the German series Sankt Maik, just less with less humor, and that’s all I have to say to that?
Three Pines
Not sure we’ve had this one on here before.

I mean, this doesn’t tell us much. I, personally, just don’t need another cop show.
Firefly Lane (Season 2)
I didn’t even know they were doing another season for Firefly Lane. I remember I saw a lot of myself in Kate, so maybe this will be good.
Dead to Me (Season 3)
This show had a good run.
Elite (Season 6)
I’ve not watched for a while now, but have fun to all those still into it.
Life and Other Disasters 
Thoughts:
1. Troll: I can see myself watching this, but I’d have to be in the right mood.
2. The Eternal Daughter: And it’s spooky films like this that make me want A24 to someday adapt one of my stories. There’s a particular one coming out soon that I think would be a good fit for the studio.
3. Wildcat; Oh my God, I love ocelots! And man, that dude has a lot of tattoos!
4. Avatar 2: I’m about as interested in seeing this as I am in watching government proceedings live. “Mr. Speaker from the great state of….snore snore.”
5. Disenchantment 2: I can see certain members of my family getting into this, just not me.

I would try and contact them to ask if there’s a person you can write to directly/if you can submit work on spec. They’re not obligated to respond, but you have to be careful with intellectual property. It can be stolen … tends to happen in Hollywood.
