While I am currently contemplating some changes on the blog, there are things that may never change – such as this weekly trailer round-up! Enjoy!
Movies
Renfield
Love it. Here for it!
You People
This is going to hold so much secondhand embarrassment, but it looks more interesting than the one scene I previously shared.
Door Mouse
The style looks interesting.
Juniper
Could be a good family drama.
Emily
OJC and Emma Mackey are such intriguing arguments for me.
Seriously Red
It takes a lot to try and impersonate Dolly.
Sick
I’m kind of over movies set during quarantine.
TV Shows
The Consultant
I love Brittany O’Grady. Doesn’t look like it, but I’d love for her to sing?
New Year New Seasons (Netflix look ahead at the year)
At least they didn’t wait forever to announce more Wednesday.
Freeridge
So, I liked On My Block, but I don’t know whether I want to check this one out.
The Ark
This is like the 100, just that Syfy would probably listen to fans instead of butchering their own characters.
Poker Face
Not sure if I shared it before, so here you go anyway.
Koala Man
It looks ridiculous.
Foundation (Season 2)
I really gotta watch the first one.
Hunters (Season 2)
Have to admit that I didn’t watch this one either…
Renfield looks hysterical and I’m so glad Wednesday is staying on Netflix!

I totally agree on Renfield. I love that vampires are just here to stay.

They may go through rises and falls in popularity, but they always come back somehow. Which is very vampire -ish, if you think about it.

Ahh I honestly haven’t ever watched a show that’s been based on covid – so when you said you were surprised they were still going, I really started to evaluate whether I’m living under a rock 😂 I’ve yet to watch Wednesday – but with all the hype around it I know I’m bound to soon!

I swear, there’s been so many movies set in lockdown and it’s exhausting. I’m especially not a fan of those filmed just via computer cameras or on phones …
Wednesday is great fun! I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Syfy usually does do a pretty good job with their shows from what I’ve seen. My husband has watched a few and we both love their Resident Alien show. It’s HILARIOUS.

I like Syfy! They usually give shows a decent chance, even if you have to fight for some to stay on long enough to get a proper ending. Wynonna Earp, Dark Matter, Bitten, Being Human and Lost Girl are probably some of my faves from the network.

I’m surprised Foundation got renewed for a second season but am glad that they’ve found enough reasons to keep going. I should try it out someday. Same for Hunters. As if having Al Pacino wasn’t enough to convince me to try the first season. I don’t know why I can’t seem to make time for it hahah! Thanks for sharing, Kat!

I really can’t say anything about it myself, but I adore Lee Pace, so I’d like to check out Foundation eventually.
