It’s Sunday and the week has just once again flown by. I burned a cake I was baking, I worked out, watched three romance movies in preparation for Valentine’s Day (which I’m not even celebrating), I cut my own hair, cause I’m stingy – loads has happened. But today, as per usual, we’re here to check out some trailers!

Fast X
The series has become so dumb, but I love it. I’m not sure if I ever watched part 9, but Tokyo Drift is still one of my most favorite movies in existence and I love Han.
Brother
Lamar Johnson is really out there ready to end me with his choice of projects being all about brothers. I mean, we JUST had the heartbreaking Sam and Henry episode on TLOU.
Paint
Uhm … this looks like they’re trying to do a Bob Ross biopic.
Palm Trees and Power Lines
I feel like this is going to be sad from the vibes alone. Also … High School girl and Jonathan Tucker? Creepy.
Space Oddity
Kyle Allen is really out there trying to become a leading man in romance movies and I respect that.
The Donor Party
Is it weird that this isn’t the first time I’m seeing a movie have those themes?
Luther: The Fallen Sun
Interesting that Netflix is the one to continue this show, they cancel all their own stuff after all.
Strays

The author of the book is racist and apparently the writing isn’t great either. I’m not going to tune in.

I’m going to guess she gets to show off her acting chops more than in the Scream franchise here.

1. Fast X: Well, it looks like they’re trying to channel one of the best movies in the franchise this time around.
2. Paint: Now all I want to do is watch Bob Ross videos.
3. The Donor Party: For a moment I thought this said, “The Donner Party” and I had totally different expectations because of it.
4. Strays: I told my dad to take my stepmom and their dog to see this, lol.
5. Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies: Why is this a thing again?
6. The Swarm: It looks like a horror series, but I can’t say that for sure.

Bob Ross videos are always super calming!
Someone in the comments of the Donor Party video said the exact same thing. What were your expectations? Donner just means thunder in German, so I feel like I’m not getting it.

First off, thank you for teaching me a new word in German. I knew lightning was Blitz, but not what thunder was. Second, the Donner Party was a wagon train heading from Missouri to California in 1847. They took a bad route during the trip that actually increased their travel time and ended up stuck in the mountains during winter, where some of them resorted to cannibalism to stay alive. It’s a rather morbid incident in American history, so of course it’s been the subject of and an influence on numerous scary stories.

Fast X – Do we really need ANOTHER movie in this series? Aren’t these actors getting old for street racing?
Strays – My husband and I said last night that so many people are going to accidentally take their kids to this movie. Do you know how many talking dog movies there are geared towards kids? People are going to make mistakes. It has potential to be funny, though. I mean, Will Ferrell is involved.
Beautiful Disaster – Skipped the book and now will skip the movie for the reason you mentioned. She’s horribly hateful.
Air – I do want to see this one.
School Spirits – I will watch this because I liked Peyton List and it looks interesting.
Pink Ladies – WHY???
True Lies – True Lies was a movie with some great actors. I watched again a while back. Doesn’t need a TV series if that is truly what this is.

I think Fast X is the conclusion to the “saga”, but never say never with those guys. They keep coming back with more ridiculous movies somehow.
Glad we’re on the same page about Beautiful Disaster. I don’t usually wish for projects to fail, but some authors I just don’t want to see thrive.

Air looks pretty good, I was surprised at how into that trailer I was. I wish I had watched Luther, the series, because I really want to watch the movie for Idris. I might just go for it and hope it makes sense.
Fast X…FAMILY! I don’t watch the Fast & Furious movies anymore, but I love the trailers. They always give me a good laugh.

My dad used to watch the Luther show, but I don’t think I’ve seen a full episode of it yet. I do like watching movies with Idris Elba though, so I feel your struggle here.
