Trailers You Might Have Missed … (March 6-12/2023)

Trailers You Might Have Missed This Week

I’m very much not on my blogging game this March so far, but I’m still consistent with my trailer posts. Let’s check out some of the upcoming movies and TV shows!

Movies

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

I’m looking forward to it!

Ghosted

I made a joke in the comments that no one would even theoretically ghost Chris Evans and people just kept replying that this man would be a major red flag in real life. It was just a joke …

No Hard Feelings

I know a lot of people are celebrating this as the return of good comedy with high class actors, but … just for one second, imagine if the genders were reversed for the leads and what people would say then?

Back on the Strip

I’m more likely to watch this than Magic Mike.

Seven Kings Must Die

It’s a film for the Last Kingdom show that I still haven’t watched.

Praise This

Yay for Anjelika Washington remaining employed.

Paint

It’s still wild to me that this isn’t a Bob Ross biopic.

Hunger

I’m not even joking. Some kitchens do be like this.

The Tank

The trailer definitely had me nervous, so … well done?

Oh Belinda

This could be fun! An actress getting transported to her characters world? Sounds good to me.

Simulant

There’s a lot of well known names in this, but I cannot see it doing well.

Spinning Gold

Oh, Jeremy Jordan as the lead?

To Catch a Killer

Feeling meh about the subject of the movie.

On a Wing and a Prayer

We all know they’re gonna make it, right?

TV Shows

Jury Duty

Mekki Leeper (from TSLOCG) is in the show and was one of the writers as well. He described this as sort of truman showing this guy and I love that idea so much. They’re just unhinged.

Slip

This looks like more than a simple comedy. I love the different dimensions take we’re getting from many shows now (thank you EEAAO?).

Citadel

I’m gonna watch this. Find it interesting that it releases like a week after Ghosted, but that’s just my brain probably.

Tiny Beautiful Things

Haven’t read the book, but Kathryn Hahn is always amazing.

The Big Door Prize

What does it say about me, that I’d stand in line to do this as well?

The Last Thing He Told Me

I think Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is a great actor, so I might check it out.

The Night Agent

I currently don’t need another show about a special agent.

Schmigadoon (Season 2)

Interesting twist to the concept of the show.

Yellowjackets (Season 2)

Season 1 was intense, so I didn’t finish it, but I bet it’s going to continue being really interesting and well done TV.

Barry (Season 4/Final Season)

Sure this one is going to go out with a bang.

Good Trouble (Season 5)

I can’t believe they brought Callie back after the whole fandom drama about her leaving …

Did you spot something you would like to watch? Let’s talk about that!

  1. Thoughts:
    1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Well, at least they’re working on making them sound like young teens rather than college students pretending to be teens.
    2. Paint: Still just want to listen to Bob Ross videos now.
    3. The Tank: Anytime there’s an underwater monster movie these days, I wonder if it’s like Underwater and is secretly a cosmic horror story. And I’m getting some real Shadow Over Innsmouth vibes off this film, so I can hope.
    4. To Catch a Killer: Oooh!

  2. No Hard Feelings – So wrong, but also funny?
Back on the Strip – I’m with you. I’d rather watch Magic Mike.
Praise This – I would watch this but would probably wait on it.
    Spinning Gold – I’m intrigued.
    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Literally me when I started the Paint trailer I immediately sent it to my friend with the message of “oh! Bob Ross!” and then “wait no hang on. Not Bob Ross” 😄.
