Trailers You Might Have Missed … (May 1-7/2023)

Trailers You Might Have Missed This Week

I didn’t do my typical recap of all the things I’ve watched this week, because I hadn’t really watched all that much. I did, however, review a book I adored yesterday. So, if you haven’t yet, please check out my post for Small Worlds here. The author has literally become an auto-buy author for me.

But now, let’s check out some trailers!

Movies

Dune 2

It still looks beautiful and I love the music. I have not read the books, so I have no clue what’s going on.

Gran Turismo

We’re really making all the games into movies now, eh? I just know the antagonist driver is the actor from Wheel of Time. And I also know that I like racing movies, which is ironic, considering that I do not drive myself. I hate being behind the wheel.

Ordinary Angels

I like Hilary Swank in inspirational roles. She’s good in them.

Lakelands

I’d watch this for Danielle Galligan.

Influencer

Influencer movies always have to be either a comedy or a horror/thriller movie. There is no in between.

After Everything

When will this franchise finally end? How is there always one more movie??

Little Bone Lodge

Feels like I’ve seen this before, but now it’s with a British accent?

Hunting Games

Not sure I’m into the whole Tubi original movie stuff.

TV Shows

The Clearing

You know what, I might actually check this out for Teresa Palmer if I’m bored.

The Walking Dead: Dead City

Honestly, I’ve lost track of the main show and its spin-offs.

SisterS

Most of the unexpected sisters shows in the past years didn’t make it beyond the first season.

With Love (Season 2)

Not exactly a show I expected to get another season.

Selling Sunset (Season 6)

It’s sad how excited I am for the new season.

Did you spot something you would like to watch on here? Let’s talk!

  1. Having just finished playing Gran Turismo 7, I was so weirded out by the movie’s synopsis since the game has no story whatsoever and the movie has one that doesn’t appeal to me much (I don’t know how it can even be a true story…). It doesn’t help that the trailer throws away almost all the plot already hahah I am very much excited for Dune Part 2 though! Happy reading and viewing, Kat. 🙂

    • I think the real part is the gamer guy becoming a racer? I think that happened for real back in 2017 or something. I’m not sure about his name, but Jann maybe? And he also drove for Nissan. My memory is a bit fuzzy, but that’s the “based on true events” part I reckon.
Happy reading and viewing to you as well, Lashaan!
